Policies & Practicalities

Policies & Practicalities

  • Please pre-register online prior to the start of class and arrive 5-10 minutes before class is scheduled to begin.
  • If you know you will be late, let the office know so that we can have a spot ready for you. Wait in the vestibule until the teacher finishes any opening/centering, and enter the studio quietly and ready to begin your practice.
  • No cellular/electronic devices in the studio unless absolutely necessary. If you must have your phone on your person, please keep it on silent mode. If you need to take a call or respond to a text during a class, please do so in the vestibule or hallway adjoining the restrooms, not in the studio.
  • Please keep talking in class related to the class. The Yoga Loft is an open space dedicated to community, personal growth and positive experience. Our expectation is kindness and respect for and from all who enter.
  • After use, please return all props to their proper homes. If you are using one of the studio mats, please wipe it down with the towels/mat spray provided.
  • If you have an injury, recent or past surgery, illness or disease, are pregnant or are experiencing another challenge, it is your responsibility to inform your instructor. Yoga is a physical, mental and emotional practice... Please ensure your safety as well as the safety of others by keeping your instructors informed and modifying your practice as needed.
  • Classes with fewer than three pre-registered students will be cancelled. Cancellation emails will be sent to those who have pre-registered. Please check that your email and cell phone number are accurate and up-to-date on your account.
  • To ensure your class is not cancelled or to avoid arriving at the studio only to find class has been cancelled, please register for in-person classes at least two hours prior to the start of class.
  • Likewise, if you need to cancel a class reservation, please do so at least two hours prior to the start of class.
  • No shows and cancellations made within two hours of class start time will not be refunded.
  • Please register for online classes at least one hour prior to the start of class.
  • Please register for workshops 24 hours in advance. In addition, only cancellations to workshop registrations made at least 24 hours in advance will be refunded.
  • If you have any trouble registering for or cancelling a class, please email us at yoga@bedfordpostinn.com
  • Unless a class is cancelled, class purchases are non-refundable. Class packages may be shared and are valid for one year following the first date of use. Unused class packages may be transferred. Monthly unlimited packages may not be shared.
  • Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
  • If you are not feeling well or experiencing any signs of illness, please stay home.
  • We welcome your suggestions and feedback for how we may continue to improve our studio and best serve our students.
